Where Do You Find Wild?

Finding Wild by Megan Wagner Lloyd with pictures by Abigail Halpin, follows two kids on a search for wild. They leave their city home on an adventure of sorts, finding wild in small places, big places, tiny animals, smells, sounds and tastes, throughout their imaginations. They think they have lost wild, until they realize it was there all along. Ultimately realizing, that finding wild, can be anywhere.

I love the premise of this book. Wild can be found anywhere, as long as you pause, to notice, to take a look at what is right in front of you. Another message of calm and being right where you are. Things are happening all around you, even when it seems like nothing is.

So where do you find your wild?
