About Bridgitte Rodguez

About Me

I am a creative. Writer, Photomaker, Artist, Baker, Learner, Explorer. And more. So what does that mean? It means that I’m curious about life. I like to notice the beauty and simplicity in the every day. And I want to share this with others. I hope you’ll come along and explore the world around us. Whether that’s the ground right below your feet, you walk every day, or ground yet to be discovered.

The world is full of infinite possibilities. What will you explore? What will you create?

I currently live in New York City. By way of LA, Washington, DC, Santa Cruz, San Diego and Puerto Rico, where I was born. If you can’t tell, I like to move. I’m always looking for a change of scenery— whether a new apartment or a new city!

I earned a BA from UC Santa Cruz in Anthropology and an MA from The George Washington University, also in Anthropology. Before I decided down this author/writer/creative journey, I worked in non-profits; museums and hospitals on communications, membership and fundraising.

For fun I like to travel, hang out with friends and family. I read, crochet and knit. I like to cook, am big into arts & crafts and wandering the streets of NYC.
