My writing tends to focus on three things: Family, Culture and Nature. Within these areas, the characters in my stories want an experience, an adventure, a discovery of themselves and the world around them. The stories are about making the everyday extraordinary.

My writing is for the kids that never get to experience anything or go anywhere— so they experience life in a book. I want my writing and my books to create an experience and develop a curiosity for the world around them for kids to then want to go out and explore the world for themselves.
